The citizen is the foundation of a democracy. As Individuals, we all have a social responsibility to promote equality in the society we live. Knowledge is power, so educating others as well as ourselves about what matters to us, is crucial in our society for the safeguard of democracy. An important part of this is being aware and engaged in political discussions to promote a better society of fairness and equality.
‘Fight-My-Rights’ is a nonprofit organization for each American in this country, to provide information with what is happening in a nonpartisan platform, and open up dialogue between politicians and each other, so that everyone is doing their civic duty. The citizen can bring our political and governmental institutions responsive and keep them accountable.
Vision:
A civic society where citizen engagement is normal in the political process by developing their social, cultural, political and economic awareness– thus citizen empowerment to fight for their rights.
